Nastya Dzutstsati

I am a photographer, videographer, writer, and researcher based in New York City. I've been photographing for over a decade. Every project is unique, so I tailor my services to your specific needs, balancing budget with creative vision.

My work spans visual storytelling, writing, and human rights advocacy, distilling complex stories and ideas into sharp, clear narratives. Across my writing and my lens, I return again and again to queer joy and radical artistic expression, the kind that refuses to be bound by time or politics.

In 2023, I gave a TEDx ta lk on writing in exile. My photography has been featured by e-flux, National Queer Theater, Radio Free Europe, Bard College, and the Dramatists Guild, among other publications and institutions, and I've guest lectured at Columbia University, Cooper Union, Bard College, Stony Brook University, and NYU.

Outside of work, you'll find me around Central Harlem with my camera, picking up groceries at Tashkent Supermarket in Brighton Beach, or walking Riverside Park with a set of watercolors in hand.
